Social Science Fair, CHALANTIKA

Time and space are ever-changing and never-ending. We, the Techno India Group Public School, Bolpur, have arranged a Social Science Fair, CHALANTIKA: An Unending Dialogue Between Past and Present, to present the relationship between history and geography. Our eminent guests, Prof. Ganapati Subiya (Dept of Ancient Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology, Visva Bharati), Prof. Malay Mukhopadhyay (Department of Geography, Visva Bharati), and Prof. Sutapa Mukhopadhyay (Department of Geography, Visva Bharati) grace us with their glorious presence. Their interaction and suggestions motivated our students. The students from classes V to IX enthusiastically participated in this fair, showcasing various models and charts that depicted different styles of architecture, effects of different religions, rotation, and revolution, different types of landforms, soil profiles, and other aspects of social science. Together, as a team, we tried to celebrate the evolution of the change. It was a memorable experience for all of us.
