VVM 2024-25

It's a great privilege to announce that Suhas Mondal, a student of TIGPS Bolpur, Class VIII has participated in State Level Camp (Level-1) Examination, West Bengal (South Region) of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan 2024-25 A Digital based and Largest Science Talent Search Examination for Emerging India (VVM 2024-25), organized by Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA) in association with National Council of Science Museums (NCSM), Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India and National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT), Ministry of Education, Govt. of India held on 08th December 2024 at DAV Model School, IIT Kharagpur, Kharagpur, Paschim Medinipur, West Bengal and secured Second Rank. The Preliminary Round of VVM(2024-25) was conducted through online, where Suhas Mandal was shortlisted to participate in the next level. Today the exam started from 9.00 am onwards, with a number of Laboratory Activities and Viva of Physics, Chemistry, Maths, and Biology a written test was conducted on PCMB, and an MCQ test on a designated topic (which was 'Solar Harnessing' for the Junior group) was conducted. After qualifying, a final written test on the Indian Education System (Based on a video shown) and a difficult Puzzle Test was conducted. Finally, at 5 pm, having done all the evaluations, the 134 SLC-qualified students (Out of 11,000 students) were felicitated. And then, out of these 134 students 18 state-level winners were awarded and 12 were qualified for the National Level. We proudly announce that, Suhas Mandal has secured Second Position and qualified for the National Level. We truly appreciate the scientific aptitude within him.
